The 2023 wedding season is coming to an end and we’ve been involved in some fabulous celebrations this year. We kicked off our season with a spectacular spring wedding for Marlee and Mitch at The Gates on Roblin in the Grand Ballroom. We wanted to highlight Marlee and Mitch’s celebration featuring lots of florals and a gorgeous palette of muted whites and greys, along with pops of blush, mauve and gold elements. It is a new year and a new wedding season is fast approaching, but we wanted to take a moment to share images and details from a spectacular wedding we planned last spring. Lauren and Seth envisioned a sophisticated and contemporary wedding and in keeping with their vision, we helped create a celebration that was chic and streamlined, including white fluffy blooms, touches of soft blue and modern black and white details with lots of ambient lighting and acrylic accent pieces. 2021. Easily the toughest season we’ve EVER experienced. It was a year marked with uncertainty as the pandemic continued to wreak havoc on everything, especially the wedding world. Despite ongoing restrictions and lockdowns in the first half of the year, we still managed to help get 18 couples hitched, manage a national virtual convention and an awards gala. It was a full year’s work executed in a little over 5 months! All the while, AME journeyed on. We look back at the year that was with a lot of gratitude and we are super proud of our accomplishments. Here’s our Year in Review 2021!

The pandemic has given way to a surge in small weddings and we hope this trend doesn’t go away anytime soon. As all the photos and video continue to pour in from an amazing summer season, we wanted to showcase a very special intimate wedding we were delighted to be a part of this past summer.

Welcome to the new @allimaevents website, everyone! When I realized we were celebrating 6 years of business in Winnipeg this summer, I knew it was time to acknowledge the anniversary with a new site so – voila! It is no secret, it has been a difficult year for everyone and the hospitality industry has been hit particularly hard with the effects of event cancellations, postponements and travel restrictions. Creating this site over the last year has honestly been therapeutic for me. It provided a creative outlet and something to be proud of during a very uncertain time.
