Our clients have been embracing unique chuppah designs over the last few years and this has become a huge focal point of our décor plans. The four post structure with a canopy covering features prominently in Jewish wedding celebrations, as an essential element of the ceremony.  The chuppah symbolizes the couple’s new home and the sacred space where they will join their lives together. The couple, (and often their parents) stand underneath the structure during their ceremony in front of their family and friends. The 2023 wedding season is coming to an end and we’ve been involved in some fabulous celebrations this year. What Goes Into A Good Horah?

The horah is our favourite part of any Jewish wedding. The horah is a passionate Israeli dance where guests energetically dance around the couple to klezmer music and this is also the part of the wedding where you’ll see the couple lifted on chairs, tossed on a sheet or balance on a table.

It is an amazing challenge for any photographer or videographer to capture this moment. Will you get sweaty? Yes. Is there a chance you might rip your dress or suit? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely!
