The pandemic has given way to a surge in small weddings and we hope this trend doesn’t go away anytime soon. As all the photos and video continue to pour in from an amazing summer season, we wanted to showcase a very special intimate wedding we were delighted to be a part of this past summer.

In a recent post I discussed intimate weddings as my #1 predicted ‘trend’ in 2021 and I think this concept is sure to stick around for a while, beyond these COVID times. After a year of uncertainty, planning and re-planning, the word ‘micro wedding’ became a bit of a buzz word synonymous with ANY viable nuptial, but I wanted to use this blog to really break down this concept and re define these celebrations simply as ‘small’ weddings.

Farewell 2020! We have a lot to look forward to in 2021; so much so that I am sharing this post a little earlier than usual. Blogging about wedding trends is turning into a bit of an annual tradition at AME and the truth is, we are so excited to celebrate many beautiful and unique wedding celebrations next year. No better time than now! It is no secret the wedding and events industry is facing a huge shift. The current global environment is producing savvier and more cautious couples who still want to get married, but likely with changed values. And we want to help!
